The 2016 Wayne High School Prom will take place on Saturday, April 16.
Queen candidates for this year are Tabitha Belt, daughter of Mike and Lynda Belt; Sylvia Jager, daughter of Huck and Christina Jager; Jenessa Kardell, daughter of Dan and Jeanne Ann Kardell; Meg Osnes, daughter of Thom and Julie Osnes; Danica Schaefer, daughter of Tim Schaefer and Deb Luft
King candidates include Jasen Davis, son of Amanda Kurpgeweit and Justin Davis; Drew Davie, son of Randy Davie and Jackie Davie; Colby Keiser, son of Pete and Shelli Keiser; Cole Koenig, son of Kevin and Teri Koenig and Schuyler Schweers, son of Corby and Amy Schweers.
The Grand March will take place at Ramsey Theater on the campus of Wayne State College at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Dinner will follow in the Student Center at 7 p.m. and the prom dance will also take place in the Student Center from 8 p.m. until midnight.
This year's theme is "A Night Under the Stars." Decorations will include gold glitter stars to carry out the theme.
