The Wayne Herald has been informed by Wayne High School on postponements of two athletic events due to weather.
Athletic Director Rocky Ruhl said that Thursday's game in Pender against Thurston-Cuming County has been postponed. The game will be made up at Hank Overin Field in Wayne after Monday's 4:30 p.m. game against Arlington.
The Mid State Conference track meet that is scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Monday, due to the forecast for wet weather that day. Coach Dale Hochstein said the 10 a.m. start time remains for the meet at O'Neill High School.
