Tuesday weather delaying Tri County League Tournaments

Bronco Tri County League Tournament games were being pushed a second day while Pony tourney games have now also received a delay.

Originally scheduled for Tuesday, July 2, the consolation and championship round of the Pony Division has now been postponed one day.

#3 Wayne White (13-3) will complete in the third place game against #6 Pender (10-4) in Craig at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3. The Wayne White Ponies have secured tournament wins of 12-3 over #13 Stanton Black and 13-12 against #12 Wakefield while suffering a 9-1 loss against #1 Logan View Blue.

On June 16, Wayne White won 9-2 against Pender in Wayne.

#1 Logan View Blue (14-0) will face #2 West Point Aardvarks (13-1) in the Pony Division finals to open Wednesday night at 6 p.m.  Logan View Blue won 12-3 in West Point on June 20.

During the quarterfinal round, #3 Wayne Blue (11-5) ended their season with a 10-9 loss in eight innings against #6 Pender last Friday.

Bronco Tournament games were postponed due to both Monday and Tuesday weather and field conditions.

Gold Division (Upper 14) games are scheduled to be played in Wisner now on Wednesday, July 3 as #2 Wayne Blue (12-0) will open against #3 Pierce Blue (10-2) at 5:30 p.m. in the semifinal round. The other semifinal will be between #1 Tri County (Emerson) (12-0) and #4 West Point Dodgers (10-2) at 7:30 p.m.

This will mark the first meeting of the season for Wayne Blue and Pierce Blue in the Bronco Division.

Also, the Gold Division third place and championship games have been moved to Monday, July 8 in Wisner with game times set for 6/8 p.m.

In the Blue Bronco Division (Lower 11), #4 Wayne White (5-7) will now visit #1 Schuyler (5-6) for a semifinal Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. Schuyler won 9-6 in Schuyler on June 12 earlier this season.

The other half of the bracket will feature #6 Logan View Gold (5-8) vs. #7 Homer (5-8) at 6:30 p.m.

The Blue Bronco Division Finals are TBD as of Tuesday.

Gold Didget Division (Upper 16) championship and consolation games have been postponed to Wednesday as the Blue Didget Division (Lower 14) championship game has also be postponed to Wednesday as well.

Earlier in the Blue Didget Division, #6 Wayne White (5-8) ended their season with an 8-3 loss against #3 Wisner (4-7) last Friday while #2 Wayne Blue (6-7) was eliminated in the semifinal round on Sunday by the score of 12-5 against Wisner.

#1 North Bend Black (7-6) will hosts #3 Wisner in the Blue Didget Division finals this evening.

During the Gold Didget Division in Pender, #1 Bancroft (14-0) will open the night against #2 West Point Patriots (13-1) in the finals at 6 p.m. followed by #5 Pender Red (11-3) vs. #6 Battle Creek #1 (11-3) around 8 p.m. during the third place game.
