It was back to the road to open the month of October for Laurel-Concord-Coleridge volleyball.
Two teams who competed for the Wakefield Invite title met on Tuesday as Pierce hosted LCC.
LCC avenged their early season loss thanks to a four-set victory over the Bluejays. The Bears have now won eight straight to improve to 17-2 as Pierce fell to 12-4.
Scores of the match favored Laurel-Concord-Coleridge 25-23, 20-25, 25-23, 25-22.
Earlier this season Pierce won 2-0 over the Bears during the Wakefield Invite on Sept. 14.
